The Nuovo Hotel Vigevano is a three stars hotel, located just few minutes from the historical centre of Vigevano. This charming town , of about 60.000 inhabitants, is situated in the Ticino Park, in the Pavia province, at just 20 minutes from Pavia, 5 minutes from Abbiategrasso and 40 minutes from Milan.

Thanks to this exceptional position, from our hotel is possible to reach easily:
  • the Vigevano centre where you can admire the Ducale square (where mostly city events take place), the Duomo, the Visconteo Sforzesco Castle built in 1198 characterized by the Bramante´s Tower (so named because was ended by Donato di Angelo di Pascuccio called Bramante).
  • Pavia with the fabulous Certosa of Pavia, one of the most important Italian late-gothic monument dates back to the fourteenth century and the Pavia´s University of Studies, one of the most ancient and important Italians and Europeans university, member of Coimbra groups.
  • Milan, with the new exhibition center (FieraMilano) located in Rho-Pero and the old site (FieraMilano City) situated in Portello area, as well as it´s historical centre rich in monuments (e.g. Duomo), churches (e.g. Sant´Ambrogio and S. Maria delle Grazie) and museums (e.g. Brera´s Gallery).

The Old Town of Vigevano is just minutes from our hotel. The Hotel is just 40 minutes from Milan, 5 minutes from Abbiategrasso and 20 minutes from Pavia.

Here is a short guide which helps you to reach our hotel.

BY CAR

- For people who come from Milan (from the West Ring Road):
  1. Leave the highway at the fifth exit (Vigevano-Milano-Lorenteggio to SS494) toward Vigevano.
  2. Take the SS494 - Cristoforo Colombo and go straight for about 20 km;
  3. Cross the town of Abbiategrasso and keep going on the SS494 - Leonardo da Vinci;
  4. Go straight through the SS494 (Corso Milano - Viale Artigianato - Viale Industria - Viale Commercio) passing by six traffic circles;
  5. Turn right to Corso Alcide de Gasperi then drive to Corso Palmiro Togliatti where you will find our hotel.
- People who come from the centre of Milan have to take via Lorenteggio, go straight through SS494 Strada Statale Nuova Vigevanese. Then follow the before mentioned indications from the third point.

- For people who come from the A4 Highway (Turin-Milan):
  • Leave the highway at Novara Est exit, following Novara;
  • At the traffic circle take the third exit on your right going to Ring Road Novara (Novara | Vigevano | Mortara | Magenta | Trecate);
  • Drive along the Ring Road for about 5 km and leave it at SS211 exit direction Novara-Mortara;
  • Keep the left and go straight toward the SS211 (Via 23 Marzo 1849) for about 20 km;
  • Turn left following SS596 - Via Gorizia and go on to Strada Milanese;
  • At the traffic circle take the third exit on your right following SS494 - via Tiziano Vecellio and go on for about 9 km;
  • At the fifth traffic circle take the third exit on your right along Corso Alcide de Gasperi and go on for about 600 meters up to Corso Togliatti where you can find our hotel.

BY TRAIN

From Vigevano´s Train Station take the Bus (Circolare A or B) and get off at Corso Torino stop.

Walk along Corso Torino for about 200 meters, turn left at the fourth cross (Corso Torgliatti) and you will find our hotel.

BY PLANE

People who come from Linate Airport, Malpensa Airport or Bergamo Airport (Orio al Serio) have to reach Milan Central Station and take the subway line 2 (green line) up to Porta Genova Station.
Then take the train to Vigevano (about 25 minutes journey).

From Vigevano´s Train Station take the Bus (Circolare A or B) and get off at Corso Torino stop.

Walk along Corso Torino for about 200 meters, turn left at the fourth cross (Corso Torgliatti) and you will find our hotel.
